Six years ago, I left the fashion industry to pursue my two greatest passions, academia and writing. Naturally, I needed one to fund the other, so while I pursued my degree in Anthropology at the University of British Columbia, I simultaneously delved head first into the world of professional freelance writing. First using my extensive travel experience as a springboard into the world of travel literature, I expanded my expertise into a variety of genres including beauty, fashion, health, design, eCommerce, culture and academia just to name a few. Having worked with more than 400 amazing clients and clocking over 1100 hours on freelance writing sites like Odesk, my portfolio exemplifies diversity, depth and creative flair.
The duality of being a professional writer and academic in the social sciences has allowed me to pull together my unique skill set, with premium content as the final outcome. I have worked alongside a number of web and graphic design teams, on a number of content overhaul projects, large and small, and have also been brought in to conduct digital content consultations for clients in various industries across the globe.
Regardless of the time zone, I offer my clients a highly flexible work schedule, and communication through various channels including Skype, Viber, email and the telephone.
